¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥

Founded in 1998, Law Alumni and Friends is a volunteer-led chapter of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Faculty of Law graduates. It is committed to supporting the faculty, students and the broader legal community by fostering meaningful connections and hosting events and networking opportunities.

Law Alumni and Friends aims to strengthen the Faculty of Law’s relationship with its graduates, students and the other members of its community. Through organizing and hosting programs and events, the local chapter aims to support the welfare within the faculty.

In the chapter’s Welcome Program, first-year students receive a warm, personal welcome from a current chapter member. Law Alumni and Friends also present special gifts to first-year and graduating students to celebrate and commemorate their achievements. Additionally, it also sponsors student group activities, and hosts signature events such as the PALS Social (Pizza, Alumni and Law Students) and the Spring Reception and Silent Auction.

Proceeds from the Spring Reception support the Law Alumni and Friends Bursary Fund, the Catherine Miller Community Service Awards, faculty and student initiatives and a summer student placement at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.

All graduates of the Faculty of Law automatically become members — no fees or registration required.
