Farrah received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ in 2007 and in her final year of physio school, she received the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Award for Excellence in Pediatrics. Since graduating, Farrah has worked across numerous different settings and specialties within the area of pediatrics.
She started her career at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital where she worked for 15 years (and continues to work a shift here and there on a casual basis) and in 2011, she was nominated by her colleagues at the Glenrose for the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Rehabilitation Awards. She has also worked with the Edmonton Public School Board and the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. Farrah started her career at Kids Included in 2022 working as a physiotherapist in the early childhood services program.
Farrah has a passion for ensuring that all children are included in school and recreational opportunities, and she spends her time volunteering with organizations that share this goal, including the You Can Ride Two adapted bicycle loan program.
In her spare time, Farrah is an avid ball hockey and tennis player. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, and loves to watercolour paint and draw al fresco as well!
