Dimitri is a proud ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ alumni, holding a BSc from the Faculty of Science (2014) and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (2018). He currently serves as District Director of Front Store and Pharmacy Operations for Neighbourly Pharmacy, where he leads 36 front store and pharmacy teams across Central ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, overseeing both clinical services and business operations.
Passionate about community engagement and education, Dimitri volunteers his time offering lectures and Naloxone/harm reduction training across various post-secondary institutions. He also contributes to professional leadership as a member of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Pharmacists Association’s leadership cohort and sits on the advisory committee for Bow Valley College’s Pharmacy Technician Program. While in university, he was actively involved with the campus food bank and served on the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Pharmacy Students Association. In recognition of his advocacy and work supporting marginalized populations in Edmonton, he received the 2021 Future of Pharmacy award from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ College of Pharmacy and RxA.
Outside of work, Dimitri enjoys construction and renovation projects, exploring the world through documentaries on history, space, and psychology, and spending time with his wife, young child, dog, and cat.
