Akhil is an Automation Specialist at Spartan Controls, where he works on industrial automation projects to optimize efficiency and performance with a focus on safety. He graduated from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ in 2022 from the Chemical Engineering Computer Process Control (CPC) Co-op Program. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Engineering at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ to deepen his expertise in process control.
Throughout his undergraduate degree, Akhil volunteered with the Engineering Student Society (ESS), dedicating his time to building community and advocating for students within the Faculty of Engineering. His key roles included serving as VP Internal for two years and as a Strategic Adviser for one year. Continuing his commitment to community involvement, he now volunteers with ENGGYAC as the Community Sub-Committee Co-Chair, focusing on fostering alumni engagement and giving back to the community.
Outside of work and volunteering, Akhil enjoys exploring new restaurants in Edmonton, planning vacations, and improving his cooking and golf skills.
