Professional Affiliations
This is the organization responsible for national certification of medical laboratory technologists in Canada. MLS students are eligible to write the CSMLS examinations upon completion of Phase 3 of the MLS program.
Under ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s Health Disciplines Act, this is the registration body for medical laboratory technologists in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. With CMLTA registration, technologists can use the MLT designation that is required for employment in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥.
MLS graduates are eligible to write the MLS (ASCP) certification examinations after receiving the BSc (MLS) degree. Employment in the United States is greatly facilitated with this designation.
