About Us

The AMLRS is the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, Augustana Faculty's field research station. It was built in the spring of 2015 and offers laboratory space, classroom, and astronomical observatory for research and education purposes, as a residence.

Our station is nestled in the quiet beauty of Miquelon Lake Provincial Park in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s east-central region. The area around Miquelon Lake contains a high level of biodiversity and geologically unique features, offering many opportunities for station users.

We strive to become a leader in sustainability, and promote research and learning in natural history and resource management. Read our Mission & Goals and Sustainability pages to learn more!
