Our sessions will occur in the magnificent Aga Khan Garden, in the elegant Diwan structure. The tranquil setting is the perfect retreat for your whole oral health-care office to focus on mindfulness strategies, all while earning continuing education credits.

Sandra Seville
Registered dietitian
Seville, RD, is a registered dietitian based in Ontario; she’s a trailblazer in connecting the dots between nutrition and oral health, including the emerging oral microbiome and overall health.
Seville educates many sectors of health-care professionals on diverse topics in the field of nutrition and health. Dental nutrition has been an area of interest to Seville for decades.
As a consulting dietitian and a recognized authority on nutrition and health, and the field of probiotics, prebiotics, and the microbiome, Seville brings a unique and evidence-based perspective to the conversation. Her ability to translate cutting-edge science into actionable strategies makes her an invaluable resource for our profession.

Justin Long
Registered psychologist
Long, MCP, is a registered psychologist, sessional professor at Concordia University of Edmonton, clinical instructor at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Faculty of Dentistry and Medicine, and adjunct faculty at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s Faculty of Education.
He has been working in the mental health field since 2012 and has been lucky to get work in a variety of settings including the Halvar Jonson Centre for Brain Injury, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Hospital Edmonton, the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Hospital, and several psychotherapeutic public and private practices. He specializes in posttraumatic stress disorder and chronic pain treatment and has a special interest in stress management due to the large impact human stress responses have on these conditions.
His recent focus has been integrating psychotherapeutic support for psychological trauma, burnout, stress, and acute/complex critical incidents in multidisciplinary contexts, such as physical therapy clinics, educational programs, and hospital settings.

Anyone can attend who is interested in the intersection of wellness and dentistry. Bring the whole oral health-care office down as our sessions are designed for everyone including dental hygienists, dental assistants, office managers, sterilization assistants, students and dentists.
