Decima Robinson
Decima Robinson was the first ever Bachelor of Science graduate at the ֱ when she received her degree in mathematics in 1911. She was born in Brighton, England and emigrated to Edmonton with her parents as a child. She was one of three undergraduate students, and the only woman, to receive advanced standing in her graduating class. She passed away in 1962. In 2011, a support centre at the ֱ was named after her to help aid students in mathematical and statistical sciences.

Decima Robinson a été la toute première diplômée d'un baccalauréat ès sciences à l'Université de l'ֱ lorsqu'elle a obtenu son diplôme en mathématiques en 1911. Elle est née à Brighton, en Angleterre, et a émigré à Edmonton avec ses parents lorsqu'elle était enfant. Elle était l'une des trois étudiantes de premier cycle et la seule femme à avoir obtenu le classement avancé. Elle est décédée en 1962. En 2011, un centre de soutien à l’Université de l’ֱ a été nommé en son honneur pour aider les étudiants en sciences mathématiques et statistiques.
