Adaptation Resilience Training

About
The Adaptation Resilience Training (ART) program supports ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s preparation for climate change by placing students and recent graduates with organizations to work on climate adaptation projects. The ART program at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ partners with a wide range of host organizations, including NGOs like The Resilience Institute, QUEST, and Trout Unlimited Canada; municipalities such as the City of Edmonton, the Town of Canmore, and the City of Calgary; and institutions like SAIT, EPCOR, and NAIT. Learn more about the past work that ART Project Assistants have completed with their host organizations below.
Coordinated by the Sustainability Council and funded by ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA), the ART program covers project assistant wages for 8-month full-time, paid projects proposed by host organizations. PAs work directly with hosts but are employed by the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Sustainability Council.
