Research Development + Services

We focus on initiatives to enhance researcher success and build institutional research capacity at the ��ֱ��. This includes:

Providing research administration services to support researchers throughout the lifecycle of a research project.
Supporting the acquisition and use of cutting-edge research tools, infrastructure and spaces, including development support for programs delivered by the Canada Foundation for Innovation.
Offering career development support for researchers at all career stages, including applications for external and internal awards.
Delivering training and technology to enhance researcher competencies and increase research capacity in areas of strategic importance.
Managing institutional initiatives and funding to catalyze research programs and enhance the impact of U of A researchers.
Implementing initiatives to integrate principles and practices supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion in research, and to support Indigenous leadership in research and ethical, mutually beneficial research partnerships with Indigenous communities.
