MScPT 2026 Application Timeline

If you are applying to the MScPT program for 2026, please review the following application timeline to ensure you are aware of important dates and deadlines:

• November 1, 2025: Application opens
  • January 15, 2026: International student application deadline (applicants with a full degree obtained from an institution outside North America)
  • February 1, 2026: Domestic student application deadline
• February 1, 2026: Transcript(s) due
  • June 1, 2026: Final transcript(s) due for applicants offered conditional admission
• Preliminary admission decisions (refused or invited to an interview) will be sent to applicants in early March 2026
• Early April 2026: Interviews. More information on the interview process/format will be provided to interview invitees.   
• Final Admission Decisions (refused/ waiting list/ offers) made in May and June 2026
• Offers to students on the waiting list can be made up until the end of July 2026 (depending on seat availability)
• Late July 2026: Mandatory Orientation (all students in Edmonton)

MScPT Program Flowchart

Academic courses and clinical placements are offered over the fall, winter and spring/summer sessions. These terms are coordinated into Blocks of study, which are outlined in this Flowchart.
