I am pursuing my Master of Arts in History with a focus on Early Modern Central Europe, particularly during the eighteenth century. My interests are primarily in social history and material culture where I am intrigued by how different materials were shaped by and, in turn, shaped the world they inhabited and helped to signal, reinforce, or challenge ideas of identity, race, social order, sexuality, and gender.
