The BCom Honors in Finance is designed for Finance majors who want to build a deeper expertise in finance. As it is intended for those targeting positions that require higher-level business skills, the Honors Program demands strong performance and solid motivation. Students in the program can choose to follow one of two streams: Private Venture Markets (PVM) or the Trading, Risk Analytics, and Digital Finance (TRADF).
Gain real-world investment experience with the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence (PRIME). This two-year program immerses business students in active portfolio management, guided by industry mentors and expert faculty. With access to professional investment tools, hands-on decision-making, and a $550,000+ fund, PRIME equips students with the skills to excel in finance. Open to third- and fourth-year students at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ School of Business.
Through a blend of lecture, case, and applied learning, U of A MBA graduates are equipped with current knowledge, sought-after skills, and the confidence to advance their career. While there is no specialized Finance MBA, students can pursue finance-focused electives across full- and part-time programs, as well as FastTrack and Executive MBA options.
