Emily Guo
Emily Guo is an interdisciplinary researcher with a strong foundation in East Asian cinema, visual culture, and art history. She is expected to receive her Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ in June 2025. She also holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Communication and New Media from the City University of Hong Kong.Emily is a recipient of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Graduate Recruitment Scholarship and the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES). Before joining The China Institute, she worked with the Mactaggart Art Collection at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Museums and has professional experience in cultural research and (new) media production. Her expertise includes qualitative research methodologies such as focus group facilitation and in-depth interviews.
