Transportation Services
Transportation Services offers vehicle rentals and mechanical services to members of the U of A community for university business.
U of A fleet vehicles can no longer be rented for periods less than seven days. Short-term vehicle rentals can be accessed via Enterprise/National Car Rentals at a discounted rate for university business purposes. Existing reservations will be honoured. There are no changes to bus or charter rentals.
Rent a vehicle
There are over 200 vehicles in the U of A fleet, including hybrid sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, passenger vans and cargo vans.
- Rates are set annually and include fuel + insurance
- Trailer-towing is permitted
- Speedcode is accepted
- 24-hour cancellation
Get mechanical service
Our fully-licenced inspection facility and technicians offer mechanical services for vehicles and trailers.

- Shop rates of just $110/hour
