ASB STUDENT GROUP ANNUAL REPORTING AND STANDING
Important Information, Forms and Deadlines for Annual ASB Student Group Reporting, and Applications for ASB Standing and Recognition are below:
The Annual Report details your group's activities and initiatives over the past year. This report is a requirement in order to be eligible to maintain and re-apply for ASB student group standing, and to receive funding from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ School of Business.
Submissions Due: April - June (Form and deadlines will be posted closer to the date)
Following annual re-approval of U of A student group status by Student Group Services, and submission of their Annual Report, a current ASB recognized undergraduate student group can reapply annually for ASB standing.

We strongly emphasize the importance of fostering and encouraging Access, Community and Belonging (ACB) within all student groups.
Form Submissions Accepted Annually: May - July 31 (Forms will be available closer to the date)If you are a U of A recognized and approved student group that would also like to apply to be ASB recognized and approved, .
If ASB student group status is tentatively granted following review of the preliminary submission process, each new ASB student group will also be required to fill out the more detailed Application for ASB Student Group Standing (above) for final review and approval.

U of A Undergraduate Student Groups that have ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ School of Business (ASB) recognition and good standing have access to funding support from various ASB and U of A sources, as well as faculty guidance and support for enhanced fundraising and donor stewardship. ASB FUNDING APPLICATIONS
Student Groups recognized by the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ School of Business may apply for the limited funding available through the CWIL - Experiential Learning Office to support their events/initiatives.
Funding requests must align with our primary goal of promoting professional skill development through experiential learning activities. The Bachelor of Commerce Funding Committee holds two application cycles in the Fall and Winter Terms, with applications open for a limited period each year:
- : Opens Aug 5, 2025 - Closes Oct 6, 2025
- Winter 2026 (CLOSED): Opens Dec 5, 2025 - Closes Jan 15, 2026
Student groups are strongly encouraged to apply for funding during the Fall access period, regardless of when the event/initiative is scheduled to take place.
In recognition of Student Groups needs and requests for financial support related to specific group or recurring event operational requirements, the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ School of Business is pleased to provide ASB recognized Undergraduate Student Groups with a limited amount of Operational Funding, based on demonstrated needs and requirements.
