The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Diabetes Institute is a fully integrated research institute that spans the full spectrum of translational research from molecular mechanisms in cells to clinical research and health outcome studies. Research at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Diabetes Institute is divided into five areas of research with researchers work together as a team to answer the difficult questions in diabetes research.

Clinical Research

Clinical research is a key link between discoveries or theories related to potential treatments and translating that towards general health care practice.

The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Diabetes Institute houses clinical research that allow investigators to readily translate their discoveries towards application. Clinical research includes regulatory-driven biomedical trials and grant funded nutrition, metabolic and physical activity studies.
