Recent Women's Studies graduate Stephanie Laskoski (BA Honors 2008) is running as a liberal candidate in the riding of Edmonton East for the upcoming election. Described as a "tireless advocate of women's issues," Stephanie recently completed a documentary film that carefully investigates the politics of solicitation laws in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. Her election mandate calls for revitalization of the Edmonton East community, and increased attention to issues of poverty, immigration, and the arts.
