Two Indigenous graduate students win awards

Two incredible School of Library and Information Studies students have been named as 2016 Government of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Graduate Indigenous Award winners.

Congratulations to Kayla Lar-Son and Lorisia MacLeod on being selected by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research for the Government of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s Indigenous Graduate Award. The award is to encourage Indigenous (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ns to pursue graduate studies in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. This award provides each of them financial support towards their academic pursuits at the School of Library and Information Studies.
