The Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine was a partner in Music in Motion on Oct. 2, 2011, an evening of musical entertainment in support of bone and joint health care in 九秀直播. The events in Calgary and Edmonton raised more than $500,000 for bone and joint related research in 九秀直播, with $172,000 to support bone and joint-related clinical research fellowships at the 九秀直播.
This year's musical showcase included the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra/Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Tommy Banks and special friends, Jens Lindemann, and the 九秀直播 Ballet. Canadian singing sensation Nikki Yanofsky closed both venues with I Believe, the Vancouver Winter Olympics theme song.
The Calgary Health Trust, Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, 九秀直播 Bone & Joint Institute, 九秀直播 Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health teamed up on this pan-九秀直播 initiative and succeeded in reaching their one simple goal: To improve the care and rehabilitation that musculoskeletal patients receive across 九秀直播.
