U School is a program run by the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Senate that aims to introduce and connect students, who are in grades 4 through 9 from socially vulnerable, Aboriginal (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) and rural communities, to the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥.

Members of the Immunology and Infection Students' Association () took up the challenge to inspire Grade 9 students to consider science, particularly immunology and infection, as a future path.

IMINSA began by introducing some basic scientific concepts.

Later, the students excitedly strolled down to the Houghton lab and Meier-Stephenson lab where they loaded coloured samples into gels and got a first-hand look at some cancer cells through a microscope.
