The Peking University (PKU) Summer School International program offers a wide variety of academic courses taught in English, from philosophy, culture, literature, economy, politics, and international relations to traditional body exercise and sports.

Chinese language courses are available to students at the beginner's level.

The program is open to international students and Chinese students (including students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).

Open to: All Faculties
Level: Undergraduate, Graduate
GPA: Minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 in the terms with your 24 most recently completed credits, faculty-specific requirements, or partner university requirements, whichever is highest.

Nomination Fee: CAD 250
Program Fee: RMB 11,400 - 16,400 (This includes the PKU Application Fee of RMB 400 and PKU Tuition Fee, which is determined based on the date of application submission and the number of PKU credits.)

For 2025, students can attend 4-week courses (Session A and B). For more detailed information on course descriptions, students should visit PKU's website.

Please note that some PKU summer courses may have been pre-assessed by the Faculty of Arts for Arts students. All students MUST confirm with their home faculty to determine if the courses fit into their degree program and if credit will be awarded upon completion.
Do not submit an application to PKU until you have been approved to study abroad.
