New Works Festival
Initiated in 2000, the New Works Festival is the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s new play festival, featuring work from emerging student playwrights.
Students write, direct, design, and produce 4 one-act plays all under the professional guidance of mentors from the University's drama community. New Works champions the development of practical creative skills, allowing students to gain real-world experience in theatrical production and see their work realized in fully-staged performances. The festival creates a sense of community and gives all students the chance to get involved in theatre at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥.
Thank you to the Department of Drama and the Timms Centre for the Arts for their continued support of the student-led New Works Festival.
