
Catharine Mastin
Catharine Mastin, currently completing an interdisciplinary PhD in in the Departments of Art & Design and History & Classics, was recently named the next Director of the Windsor Art Gallery. Catharine has secured an impressive record of major fellowships and scholarships during her tenure at the University, including the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s Dissertation Fellowship (2010), the Eleanor Luxton Fellowship (2010), the President's Doctoral Prize of Distinction (2008-10), and the Recruitment Scholarship (2006-08). She has also held a Doctoral Fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humnities Research Council of Canada (2008-10). Prior to her studies Catharine Mastin was Senior Curator of Art at the Glenbow Museum (Calgary) from 1995-2006, where she was co-founder of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Biennial of Contemporary Art and curator/general editor for the exhibition and publication, The Group of Seven in Western Canada (2002).
