Zooarchaeology Reference Collection Storage Expansion

This year Dr. Rob Losey received a grant from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Museums Association to expand the storage capacity of our Zooarchaeology Reference Collection.

This year Dr. Rob Losey received a grant from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Museums Association to expand the storage capacity of our Zooarchaeology Reference Collection. The grant enabled us to install about $10,000 worth of new metal cabinets that will allow us to expand the Collection for many years to come. As part of this, Dr. Losey also obtained a number of new specimens for the Collection. Of these, 41 were donated by Rob, and included shellfish specimens from the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of the US. Further, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Fish and Wildlife donated 58 wolf and dog crania, and one whole wolf, to our Collection. Well done Rob!
